RF front end market evolution in mobile phones – Live Market Briefing
Sign in for replayThe Radio Frequency (RF) front end is a key piece of technology enabling wireless communication in mobile devices. Its many technical challenges led to the development of a dedicated ecosystem, creating solutions for a dynamic and growing market.
In our highly connected world, mobile phones remain a cornerstone for consumer device manufacturers. Innovation often starts in mobile phones and spreads to other devices. However, to remain competitive, manufacturers must implement wireless communication protocols such as 5G, millimeter wavelength (mmWave), Wi-Fi6/6E and Ultra Wideband (UWB). This creates fierce competition at all levels in the supply chain, which never ceases, as technology keeps evolving. External factors such as geopolitical tensions or supply shortages also strongly affect the market.
This live market briefing will provide insights into these topics based on Yole Intelligence’s reports and the new quarterly market monitor, which tracks market size all the way down to wafer level as well as supply chain, market share and technology evolution.
