11:30am – 1:30pm: Government – Industry Leadership Roundtable on Indian Power Electronics Industry and Ecosystem Development – Industry Roadmap & Policy Recommendations
-
The Indian power electronics industry is entering a phase of strong growth in both manufacturing and indigenous R&D, driven by rising demand for efficient power conversion across major applications. Key opportunity areas include broad electrification and energy transition, modernization of power transmission and distribution and grid integration of renewables, rapid expansion of electric mobility and nationwide EV-charging infrastructure, increasing high-quality power needs from hyperscale data centers, and accelerating railway and metro electrification programs (including semi-high-speed transit manufacturing and indigenous locomotive propulsion).
This momentum is backed by long-term government commitment through missions such as NaMPET, the India Semiconductor Mission, the National Smart Grid Mission, and the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
In this context, the Government–Industry Leadership Roundtable at PCIM Asia New Delhi will discuss the sector’s vision, roadmap, and initiatives aligned with national development goals.
