Battery Streak & US Navy NSWC Crane Sign CRADA for safe & fast charging battery development

Battery Streak, a battery technology company, has signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement

(CRADA) with the US Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division. The CRADA will enable Battery Streak and NSWC Crane to collaborate on research for safe and fast-charging battery development through August 2026.

The agreement will allow both entities to leverage each other’s subject matter experts, laboratory space, state-of-the-art test equipment, and test result data. The collaboration will focus on developing Battery Streak’s advanced battery technology that can be used in dual-use applications (military and commercial.)

“We are excited to partner with NSWC Crane on this important initiative,” said David Grant, President/CEO of Battery Streak. “This collaboration will enable us to leverage our expertise in battery technology to develop new solutions that can benefit society. We look forward to working with NSWC Crane on this exciting project.”

“Thanks to Naval X and Fathomwerx who invited us to participate in the Advanced Naval Technology Exercise (ANTX)” said Dan Alpern, VP of Marketing of Battery Streak. “Our participation helped connect us with the team at NSWC Crane that led to this CRADA. I can’t wait for ANTX-CT23 and the new opportunities in store for Battery Streak.”
