GCA is pleased to announce that our client, Advantest a manufacturer of automated test equipment (ATE) for the semiconductor industry, has completed the divestiture of its Advanced Probe Card Assets to FormFactor, (“FormFactor”) a manufacturer of essential semiconductor test and measurement technologies.
Located in Baldwin Park, California, Advantest’s Advanced Probe Card business manufactures and sells probe cards for memory applications and was originally acquired as part of Advantest’s acquisition of Verigy in 2011. Advantest divested the Advanced Probe Card business as it was no longer considered to be a core strategic asset for the Company.
