Mycronic AB (publ) has received an order for three mask writers from an existing customer in Asia: one Prexision 8 Evo, one SLX and one FPS6100. The order value is in the range of USD 36-40 million. Delivery of the Prexision 8 Evo is planned during the third quarter of 2026, SLX during the second quarter of 2025 and FPS6100 during the fourth quarter of 2025.
The Prexision 8 Evo mask writer meets the market’s requirements regarding complex patterns for display photomasks. The SLX mask writer meets rising demand for photomasks for the semiconductor industry and a future need for replacement and modernization. FPS 6100 is a mask writer producing photomasks for various application areas, including electronic packaging, touch-screens and MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems).
“It is gratifying to receive this order for mask writers for both the display industry and the semiconductor industry. We are very grateful for the trust from our customers and look forward to continued good cooperation”, says Charlott Samuelsson, Sr VP Pattern Generators at Mycronic.
Mycronic’s Pattern Generators division provides mask writers and metrology systems for display manufacturing and production of semiconductors.
