Norma partners with Maybell Quantum for integrated quantum computing system in South Korea

Norma, a company specializing in quantum security and quantum computing, signed an MOU with Maybell Quantum, a U.S. quantum computer infrastructure company, for the domestic introduction of an integrated quantum computing system.

The MOU signing ceremony held recently at Norma’s headquarters aims for both companies to accelerate the commercialization of quantum computers in the Korean market and contribute to the advancement of quantum technology. Norma plans to focus on the successful introduction of an integrated quantum computing system, including Maybell Quantum’s cryogenic cooling system, into the Korean market. Maybell Quantum has decided to strengthen its technical support so that its quantum processor unit (QPU) and control electronics can be fully compatible with Norma’s quantum factory system. The two companies will also carry out various collaborative activities such as joint marketing, technology presentations, and securing new customers and partners.

Maybell Quantum is a quantum computing infrastructure company founded in Denver, Colorado, USA in 2021 that has grown under the support of the US government. It recently raised $25 million in Series A investment and is focusing on expanding the production scale of dilution refrigerators for cooling superconducting qubits. The cooling system maintains the operating temperature of the quantum chip and blocks external noise to provide a stable quantum computer environment.

Maybell Quantum’s dilution refrigerator is reliable, space-efficient, and scalable, and can accommodate more qubits than existing cryogenic systems.
