SIA POWERTRAIN 2023
POWERTRAIN SOLUTIONS FOR URBAN AND REGIONAL MOBILITY FOR PASSENGER CARS AND COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
The automotive industry is undergoing an unprecedented transformation due to the energy transition and its impact on society. Powertrain technologies are nowadays key to support this transformation while responding to the evolution of mobility needs.
To be successfully implemented, powertrain technologies must be embedded in the ecosystem formed by the production and distribution of electricity and future fuels. In addition to the energy aspects, the resource depletion issue must be addressed as early as the design stage.
The introduction of new technologies in the automotive context has triggered a profound transformation of the industry’s value chain, leading to numerous collective ventures and collaborative projects supported by public authorities.
The 35th SIA POWERTRAIN conference will address the full spectrum of electric and hybrid drivetrain technologies with special focus on urban and regional mobility for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
The program is structured around 5 themes:
- Low carbon automotive propulsion systems
- Electric machines & power electronics
- Batteries & systems
- Eco-design solutions for circular economy
- New mobility ecosystem including energy supply
