3rd International UV WORKshop
The UV Workshop is a platform for international experts to discuss the latest developments in emission, transmission, and detection of ultraviolet radiation. For the third time, LASER COMPONENTS will host this event at the company premises in Olching, Germany.
During the two-day event, lectures will cover technological aspects, applications, and the current situation in the world-wide market.
Advanced UV for Life e.V. and LASER COMPONENTS, both organizers, will put a special focus on the pandemic situation that has already persisted for over two years. The entire second day will explore topics around the semiconductor technology – UV(C)-LEDs – used for UV disinfection as well as its applications in hygiene, sterilization, sanitary, horticulture, analytics etc.

Pierrick Boulay is Senior Technology & Market Analyst, Automotive Semiconductors at Yole Group.
He works in the fields of solid-state lighting and lighting systems, carrying out technical, economic, and marketing analyses. In addition, he leads the automotive activities within the company.
Pierrick has authored several reports and custom analyses on topics such as automotive lighting, LiDAR, sensing for ADAS vehicles, and VCSELs.
Prior to Yole Group, Pierrick has worked in several companies where he developed his knowledge of lighting and automotive. In the past, he has primarily worked in R&D departments on LED lighting applications.
Pierrick holds a master of science in electronics at ESEO (Angers, France).
