PROGRAM :
Get ahead of the robotic vehicle wave and get to know the key technologies for this transportation revolution to happen.
Yole Developpement (Yole) and KnowMade organized a special webcast on April 17th,2018. After reviewing the key insights of Yole latest report “Sensors for Robotic Vehicle 2018” the Analysts have focused on: computing technology for AV and LiDAR IP landscape.
The complete presentation part lasts 30 minutes and is followed by a 30 minutes Q&A with the Analysts.
Speakers:
Pierre Cambou joined the imaging industry in 1999. Following an engineering degree from Université de Technologie de Compiègne in parallel to a master of science from Virginia Tech in 1998, as well as graduating from Grenoble Ecole de Management’s MBA, Cambou took several positions at Thomson TCS, which became Atmel Grenoble in 2001 and e2v Semiconductors in 2006. In 2012 he founded Vence Innovation, now called Irlynx, in order to bring to market a disruptive man-to-machine interaction technology. He joined market research and strategy consulting company Yole Développement as imaging activity leader in 2014.
As a Software & Market Analyst, Dr. Yohann Tschudi is a member of the Semiconductor & Software Division at Yole Développement (Yole). Yohann is daily working with Yole’s analysts to identify, understand and analyze the role of the software parts within any semiconductor products, from the machine code to the highest level of algorithms. Market segments especially analyzed by Yohann include big data analysis algorithms, deep/machine learning, genetic algorithms, all coming from Artificial Intelligence (IA) technologies.
After his thesis at CERN (Geneva, Switzerland) in particle physics, Yohann developed a dedicated software for fluid mechanics and thermodynamics applications. Afterwards, he served during 2 years at the University of Miami (FL, United-States) as a research scientist in the radiation oncology department. He was involved in cancer auto-detection and characterization projects using AI methods based on images from Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). During his research career, Yohann has authored and co-authored more than 10 relevant papers.
Yohann has a PhD in High Energy Physics and a master degree in Physical Sciences from Claude Bernard University (Lyon, France).
Dr. Paul Leclaire works for Knowmade in the field of MEMS and Sensors. He holds a PhD in Micro and Nanotechnology from the University of Lille, France, in partnership with IEMN in Villeneuve-d’Ascq and CRHEA-CNRS in Sophia-Antipolis.
Moderator:
David Jourdan has been working in Sales Marketing Dept. of the Discrete and Standard Group of STMicroelectronics. Then he has been working for several months within Ernst & Young, mainly in collaboration with Jean-Christophe Eloy. In 1998, he joined Yole Développement for its very early beginning. David has been Marketing Analyst for a few years and later on he held Sales & Marketing position of our reports publication activity. For a few years, he has been managing the customer support & the promotion of our publications. He now works as a Global Sales Support. Coordinator
David is cofounder of Yole company. And he has been graduated of Business Manager diploma from the Wesford High School in Grenoble and earned a degree in Applied Language in Lyon II University.
