About Yole Group
Yole Intelligence expects the GaN power electronics device market to reach $1.6 billion by the year 2027. The adoption of GaN devices in various consumer fast-charging applications is driving the growth of this segment.
Navitas has continued to demonstrate itself as a leader in the GaN Power semiconductor with more than 100 million of GaN chip shipped to clients according to recent company information. Navitas uses the e-mode (normally OFF) GaN technology for the device design. It produces 650/700V GaN power ICs in QFN packages with integrated gate drive for highly efficient operation.
Yole SystemPlus provides a full reverse costing study of the Navitas NV6158 GaNFast Power IC.
This is a Quad Flat No-Lead (QFN) packaged device with a 700V breakdown voltage and 12A (@TC =100°C) continuous drain current. Yole SystemPlus fully tears down the device, giving detailed overviews of the GaN HEMT’s physical parameters including detailed die dimensions of the GaN epilayer stack.
This report also provides a technology overview, the manufacturing cost and selling price of the GaN Power IC device, as well as an estimated manufacturing cost of all the process steps.
