The Edge AI and Vision Alliance is a worldwide industry partnership bringing together technology providers and end-product companies to accelerate the adoption of edge AI and vision in products.
Founded in 2011, the Alliance now has more than 100 Member companies, ranging from name-brand multinationals to newly formed startups. All have one thing in common: they either produce technology to enable AI and vision in products, or they use AI and vision in their products.
The mission of the Alliance is to accelerate the adoption of edge AI and vision technology by:
- Inspiring and empowering product creators to incorporate AI and vision technology into new products and applications
- Helping companies achieve success with edge AI and vision technology by:
- Building a vibrant AI and vision ecosystem by bringing together suppliers, end-product designers, and partners
- Delivering timely insights into AI and vision market research, technology trends, standards and application requirements
- Assisting in understanding and overcoming the challenges of incorporating AI in their products and businesses
Alliance membership is open to any company that supplies or uses technology for AI or vision systems and applications. Member benefits include early insights into new markets, technologies, applications and standards; increased influence over the direction of the industry; and increased visibility to analysts and media. In addition, you’ll get visibility for your content via the Edge AI and Vision Alliance website, used by tens of thousands of professionals to keep up to date on the latest developments in practical computer vision and machine learning. Members are eligible to sponsor, exhibit and present at the highly regarded and well-attended Embedded Vision Summit conference, and have access to the Alliance’s Members-only educational and networking events, the Vision Industry and Technology Forums, held throughout the year.
If your company is a supplier of vision chips, sensors, algorithms, software, tools, subsystems or services, join the Alliance as a Technology Member. Technology Member benefits include increased visibility to end-product creators, and introductions to new customers and partners.
If your company is incorporating vision technologies into systems or applications, join the Alliance as a Solutions Member. Solutions Member benefits include connections with new suppliers, partners and advisors; sharing knowledge with companies solving similar challenges; and introductions to start-ups with leading-edge technologies.
The Alliance also offers the Vision Accelerator Program, enabling Solutions Members to bring innovative products to market faster. The Accelerator Program includes confidential workshops that bring together industry experts to advise on technology approaches for a specific product and to make introductions to relevant suppliers and partners.
Founded in 2011, the Alliance is led by Berkeley Design Technology, Inc. (BDTI), an independent technology analysis and engineering services firm. BDTI manages the Alliance on behalf of the Member companies.
