70 battery-electric buses will be phased into operation in Oslo in 2019

Unibuss, Nobina and Norgesbuss will acquire and run the new electric buses on a total of 13 bus routes in Oslo. As a European Environment Capital in 2019, Oslo will present an environmentally friendly public transport service, where the electric buses will be characterized by the capital. Oslo will next year focus on electric buses, placing itself on the European map.

This order is big in European context, and Oslo receives the largest fleet of electric articulated buses in the Nordic region. With the six electric buses already running in the pilot, Oslo will in 2019 have a total of 76 electric buses, of which 52 are articulated buses.
