Chinese investment fund An Xin Capital has acquired the Norstel

Norstel develops and manufactures the material silicon carbide in the form of crystals, discs and facings. Products sold are substrates for the manufacture of diodes and transistors for energy efficient electronics. Operations in Norrköping are not expected to be affected to any significant extent by the transfer of ownership, but investments to increase productivity and capacity is planned in both Sweden and China.
