Vuzix completes delivery to tier-1 aerospace and defense firm

 Vuzix® (“Vuzix” or, the “Company”), supplier of smart glasses and Augmented Reality (AR) technology and products, announced it has completed delivery against a follow-on order from a Tier-1 aerospace and defense contractors with which it has been working with. The Company expects to receive additional orders in subsequent phases with this partner.

Vuzix has delivered a customized waveguide-based optics engine that is intended to be used in head worn systems designed for aerospace applications. These customized waveguide-based engine prototypes offer a high brightness, high index waveguide design with a wide FOV (field-of-view) for a variety of field operational conditions.
