Dutch laboratory equipment supplier Bioké said that it has signed an agreement to distribute Parallex BioAssays’ SnapChip microarray products in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The SnapChip is a simple microarray-to-microarray approach to eliminate false signals in multiplexed immunoassays, as it reproduces the conditions of a common ELISA by colocalizing the capture and detection antibodies in nanodroplets,” Parallex CEO Sebastien Bergeron said in a statement. “This cross-reaction-free platform offers high quality results while permitting rapid, flexible, and customized multiplexed immunoassay development that will help accelerate academic and industrial research.”
Bioké has entered into a number of distribution arrangements in recent months including ones with Omni Life Science for its cellular analysis products; Syntec for its Medimachine line of semi-automated homogenizer products; and Namocell for its Namo Single Cell Dispenser tool.
