IMAPS France “advanced technology workshop on microelectronics, systems and packaging for medical applications,” December 7th -8th in Lyon

IMAPS France will hold the 4rd edition of the Advanced Technology Workshop on Microelectronics, Systems and Packaging for Medical Application on December 7th & 8th at the Lyon Metropole Hotel in Lyon, France. The event will bring together professionals from microelectronics, implantable and wearable devices, medical and regulatory fields. One keynotes will open each day and will give the opportunity to exchange with all attendees.

The opening of 2-days workshop will be held by professor SAWAN Mohamad who talks on the topic: Toward Brain-Area Networks for the Diagnostic and Treatment of Neurodegenerative Diseases.

Mohamad Sawan received the Ph.D. degree in 1990 in Electrical Engineering, from Sherbrooke University, Canada. He joined Polytechnique Montreal in 1991, where he is currently a Professor of microelectronics and biomedical engineering. Dr. Sawan is a holder of a Canada Research Chair in Smart Medical Devices, he is leading the Microsystems Strategic Alliance of Quebec (ReSMiQ), and is founder of the Polystim Neurotechnologies Laboratory. Dr. Sawan is founder and cofounder of several international conferences such as the IEEE NEWCAS, and BIOCAS.

And the second day will be opened by, Mr RAMBEAUX Eric who talks about the development of an implantable electronic device for treatment of urinary incontinence and thus all technical constraints. Eric Rambeaux offers more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, in medical devices, in drug companies. Mr. Rambeaux holds a doctorate in pharmacy from the Paris University, and a master’s degree in management and marketing from ESSEC Business School.

Mr Rambeaux joined MyoPowers early 2014 to look after Business related activities and has been serving as the company CEO since December 2014.

The programme is available to the IMAPS office by October 8th. The registration is opened with special fee for early bird; The pricing includes all accommodations for the 2-days. A vendor exhibition will accompany the conference sessions.
