Phoenix contact expands e-mobility portfolio

Everything from a single source, from the CCS charging inlet to a charging management solution: As of now, Phoenix Contact bundles a wide range of coordinated charging technology components for both the electrification of vehicles and setting up a powerful charging infrastructure – everything under the name CHARX.

All CHARX products have specially been designed for use in e-mobility applications and are classified according to their function in the charging process: In addition to the CHARX connect charging cables and charging sockets, the CHARX control controllers and the CHARX manage software, the portfolio has recently been extended by the CHARX power DC power electronics and the CHARX protect surge protection. In addition, the CHARX contact DC power contactors will follow next year. Replenished with numerous standard products such as energy meters, power supplies, touch panels, and industrial connection and communication technology, an almost complete portfolio is created that makes quick, safe, and convenient AC and DC charging of electric vehicles possible.
