Pyxalis HDPYX 230-G: a global shutter CMOS sensor with RGB+NIR capabilities

Pyxalis announces the release of its first global shutter RGB+NIR image sensor. Featuring a sparse NIR and color filters, the HDPYX 230-G is a state of the art 2.3MP CMOS image sensors with a 3.2um global shutter HDR pixel. This new sensor features an optical format of 1/2.5” with 1,944 (H) x 1,204 (V) active pixels and a frame rate of 60 fps. Pyxalis’ HDR technology delivers up to 98 dB of intrascene, in pixel, artifact-free dynamic range with up to 16bits data per pixel available at the sensor output.

The outstanding RGB+NIR capabilities allows the sensor to adapt to different types of applications, combining for instance color image and active lighting, or outstanding color quality even in low-light mode without a IR-cut filter in the optical path.

Being AECQ-100 certified, our HDPYX 230-G is also ruggedized against most demanding environmental condition. The sensor is also available in 1.6MP under the reference HDPYX 160-G in 1/2.9” format.
