PIC International 2019 agenda unveiled

PIC International Day One kicks off with the sessions, PICs Today – Datacom, Imaging and Transport and PIC Innovation – EPDA, TAP & PICs Beyond Datacom; Day Two covers PICs Beyond 100G – Evolution and Revolution, PICs Beyond 100G – Evolution and Revolution, PIC ROI – Show Me the Money and PICs Reimagined – Hybrids and Material Innovations.

The organisers of PIC International have now finalised the programme for the 2019 conference, which will take place in Brussels on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th March.

During the two-day conference delegates will hear almost 40 talks that have been divided into five themes as well as two new panel sessions – full agenda can be viewed here).

“As well as many great presentations to look forward to, from the likes of Facebook, AIM Photonics, European Commission Photonics Unit,, Finisar, Kaiam, and Intel, there will be many companies to talk to at the exhibition,” says Sukhi Bhadal, Event Director and Publisher of PIC Magazine. “Those conversations could be very valuable, as they could lead to opportunities to meet other key players across the entire value chain of the photonics integrated circuits industry”.

Another highlight of PIC International will be the third PIC Awards ceremony at the end of Day 1. This will serve to recognise and highlight key industry achievements in advancing photonic integration through platform development, manufacturing, design, packaging and device characterisation.
